Wow! That balloon flower is beautiful, as are the lilies and pink phlox. Those goosenecks are very interesting...they really do look like a flock of geese! One patch of my gloriosas are standing up straight like yours, the other patch looks healthy but need something to hold them up I guess, as they are laying down. I wonder why your goldenrod blooms so early? Do they bloom again in the fall?
Unfortunately, the goldenrod doesn't bloom in the fall. I planted it next to an aster, thinking the gold and purple combo would look good, but the goldenrod blooms months earlier than it's suppose to!
Forgot to add that I use those small tomato cages, cut in half, for flower supports. They also protect the young plants from two rowdy Ratties that love running through the beds!
I still love to be outdoors but I've cut back on the flower gardening. Moved to a new house in Dec. 2016. Put in my first vegetable garden in May 2016. Added chickens March 2017.

Tammie, those are beautiful. I have heard of balloon flowers but haven't seen them and I really like them. They are my favorite color too!

Good idea!
And yeah, rowdy ratties can really do a number on the flowers...
Beautiful pics! I especially love the pink and yellow Asiatic lily--do you know what the name of that particular one is?
